hi, i m a newbie.. wanna know which is faster and better?

 

are u asking n/a b20 or b16 turbo?!?! i hope not cuz even a newbie should know that the turbo will be faster

 

A d16 with a turbo could be faster than a b20.

b20 with b16/gsr tranny should be faster than b16

f/i
b20 will still be faster with proper tuning than a b16 I believe they are like the b18b..(low compression) more boost

b16's are good there just torqueless..

i would go b18b,b20 over b16 any day with the proper transmission

 

with the b20 your going to gain more tq, with the b16 your going to get more top end

 

b16w/turbo is good at top end? why?\
not all turbo is fast right>

me? if your read the rules it clearly states not to post crap like this in the very over crowded eg forum i for one actually read the rules when i signed up (thats probably why i have 100% and you have 97%). and ive been on here for almost a year not that that matters under a diff name. good day to you sir.

Instead of being a dick about it mabe you could have said something more subtle, like "try searching next time." or "check the link at the top of the thread about 'which motor is available for my civic'"

if you say you read the rules correctly then you would also would have read

yeah been getting sick of people trying to be a ethug.
also for the newbie yeah those questions yeah are not allow. if you use the search feature there should be alot of info about those engines. also asking which is faster is so general youll get tons of differnt answers. so yeah just research the stuff before you ask a question. most times it has been covered.

 

to give a little credit. B20s with more displacment should yield more power but they dont have the flizzow like the b16. The b16 which has the NA flizzow has no torque cuz its a motorcycle engine. Add boost into the equation. The flow characteristics of a poor NA head might be better for turbocharging than the high RPM NA condition B16 head right? So boost for boost will the b16 yield more or less power and tit for tat bing for bang which one is gonna toss a rod into your ******* first. Question was maybe legitimate when origionally asked maybe not.

 

if going turbo on both then go b20 turbo

 

your talking about a stock b20 right? not a Crvtec? in that case.. would LS or B20 be better.. since there both torque monsters.. sorry to thread jack.. i just gotta know! thanks
