Default Well The Bitch Is Back, #1457 That Is.

Well after 7-8 months of the front end being damaged it finally went to the body shop and here are the results:

I am not sure how much I like the TopFuel CF lip yet, but I really did not want the Spoon or OEM one, everybody has them.

And around the scoop in the hood it is painted FBP. It was all cracked up around the scoop and could not be repaired without painting it. I like it, I think that it looks sweet.

Oh yeah, those are OEM HID's by the way, so much better than Hyper Whites!!!

And those are my winter rims on, so don't hate. And I know that the 17's have to go. They will come May.

Thanks for looking.

So did you just give the body shop all the JDM front conversion parts and let them figure out how it goes together, or did you have to tell them how to do it?

well actually it already had a JDM front end on it, all they did was straighten out the fenders and core radiator support and put on a new hood, lights and bumper/lip.

The shop that did the work belongs a family friend and did the work very inexpensively, but all top notch. But I knoew from previous experiences that it could run about $1900-$2300+ for just the labor.

It took the shop about 2 weeks, but was because I was on vacation, otherwise about 1 week.

And nothing is wrong with 17's, except the ride quality, way to harsh, especially on these crappy NY roads.

So you are telling me that you see real Type R's all the time. I hate to pull ITR rank on you but unless I am at an ITR meet I see about 5 a year.

The other problem is that people on this board a to ***** to differentiate themselves form form what might not be COOL. I DON'T want to be like everyone else. It's quotes like yours that make me glad that I got the lip that I did.

So he can't make his car unique in any way because it's an Integra or because it's an R, or just because you said so?

</TD></TR></TABLE>So, its idiots like yourself. That do things for the wrong reason. Its a hobby, and if your in this hobby to be "different" or "prove" something. Your in the wrong hobby imo. Its common sense, so if you dont understand what my point is then..whoa

Its like saying "You know, everyone has houses these days...I think Imma be little different and build me a cardboard box to live in"

Again, IMO...being different isnt always a wise choice...but its your car none the less. Do what YOU want, and who gives a crap about what "I" or anyone thinks. This is an internet forum filled with different opinions. If you can't take someone feeling a certain way about your car..then dont post pics of it

Again, its MY opinion

the question is though...if you went after slapping on civic headlights, and skyline taillights... would the feeling about originality still be the same?

i have always been a fan of the top fuel lip. in fact, i didn't know they made it in cf, but IMO the lip only looks good on CW Rs with the lip painted the same color. glad to hear you got your car back though.

&lt;---- my r is in the shop now.

I had them custom made, with the actual RECARO material and the logo.
