Default Car alarm problems.

Yesterday I was working on removing some audio wires I installed, but have nothing to do with my alarm. Now, after I was finished, I reconnected the battery, and went to start the car.

Now, the car started, but the alarm stays on. Example: I disarm my alarm to get into the car, open the door, start car, close the door and alarm LED is blinking, and after 10 seconds give me a warning chirp saying it will arm itself automatically (keep in mind, the car is now started). Now, before yesterday, as soon as the car is started, no alarm problems at all, no LED blinking, and it would just stay disarmed like the alarm should, until I arm it again.

I can drive the car, becasue I put my alarm on valet mode, and then just take it off while I am away from the car, so my alarm will go off if someone is trying to break into it, it is just an incovenience. Can anyone help me out with this.? Also, I will add, before this happened, it only beeped 2 times for the unlocking/disarm of the alarm like it is supposed to, but now it beeps 4 times when I do that.

Alarm: Viper 350HV.

Thank you very much.

What's happening is that the alarm is not getting a signal through the ignition wire. That wire resets the trigger codes, and tells the system not to rearm. Double check all the alarm wires. The ignition wire should be a yellow wire coming from the alarm brain.

Thank you, I will go check that now. Hopefully I just sliced a wire a little bit while messing with my radio.

yup, I cut the wire going to the ignition, I just re-ran the wire back, and works perfectly now. Thank you.
