Everyone list them as 446F/311F wet/dry boiling point, but that is actually the minimum for DOT4. Does anyone have the actual spec of the fluid? It suppose to exceed those numbers... Anyway I sent an email to castrolusa.com if they reply I will post.
Castrol LMA and Valvaline SynPower are both $4.99 @ Pep Boys... Local Ford dealer doesn't seem to carry th Ford Heavy Duty fluid anymore.
PS, I picked up some Autozone 10.3" rotors that are made in China for $23 each. We'll see how they hold up. The quality looks okay. 3 month warrenty if they are warped or anything I can get my money back anyway.

Found it on a page. Castrol LMA = 490/325. Just a tad lower than Valoline SynPower which is 513/333. Both cost the same at Pep Boys. I guess I'll use Castrol LMA this time, as it seems to be specially forumlated to be LMA...
Doesn't matter if it's LMA or not as long as you flush at least 3 times a year. I run Motul and I flush 2 times a year. 3 if I'm feeling motivated.
Valvoline Synpower isn't bad. Pretty good for off the shelf really, but Motul is worth the extra few bucks. The big question for me is, is Castrol SRF worth the money?

When I think about it, the only time I boil fluids seems to be if I don't do a long enough cool down lap... I think if you're going to bleed/flush often, then Ford is the best deal out there.
Local FOrd dealership only seem to carry "Ford Hi Po Brake fluid". Maybe it got renamed. THe can said it's made in Germany...

I think I boiled my Castrol GT LMA today autocrossing. Seriously. Tons of left-foot braking, very toasty brakes and now I have a squishy pedal. At least, I guess I either cooked the fluid or the pads. Suppose I will find out soon enough...
