Default tach install

have an autometer tach, installing in a 91 civic dx, where does the green wire go?this is being done on a b16a conversion. does it go to the ecu or to the distributor? Please let me know where to connect

on the dizzy theres 2 screws and u put it under the blue wire but make sure u have some silicone or osmethign so no water gets threw the hole cause it will mess ur dizzzy up

don't understand what screws you are talking about, can anyone tell me if it is the 2 wire plug on the distributor?

you can also just connect it to the blue wire in back of your gauge cluster.

yeah but he doesnt have a hf crx EFcivicHB I dont think dx's come with a tach so i dont believe there is one there for him to tap into like i did. Please some correct me if im wrong or not thanks

ALL EF civics are wired for a tach. they all have the blue wire at the cluster.

thats why if you buy and SI cluster, you just plug it in and go. (providing its the correct plug shape: 88-89 or 90-91)

yep, i have an 88 STD that had no tach, bought an 89 Si cluster... plugged it in, drove away.

The harness is the same, and the wires are all there.
