Is coilover good for drag racing. I seen a lot of post about coilover, but my buddy was telling me coilover are more for looks. So what is a good drag racing set up. Could i use stock shocks vs aftermarket. I know aftermarket is better, but would just a spring job do the trick???

 

im using skunk2 1000# on coilovers w/ koni yellows on my turbo car. and skunk2 1000# on stock struts in all motor car. no complients here. Just little rigid ride

i read some posts, and it seem like you can run a skunk 2 drag spring w/ their coilovers in the back. But none of the post cover what kind of spring to use in the front. I guess stock shocks can be use in the back right? So my questions what to get for the front.

 

IM using 1000# front and rear. Yes u can use them with stock struts

i had coilovers and tokico struts on my car on my car and then i changed them to a dropzone drop spring 2 in drop and know i got to change it back to the coilovers cause it wheel hops like a bia really bad,so bad i ran better times when i didnt burn out and let my tires just spin like crazy.
