Reason tach isn't working?

ANy reasons why my type r cluster tach isn't working....
I need help...
When i turn on my engine, my tach inside the cluster doesn't work, But the temperature gauge and fuel gauge works. Why is this? anybody have any clue?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

What car do you have? A '99 Canadien spec ITR? Or, what?? We need more info to help you out.

i was going to advise you to take your car in for warranty if your car was still applicable, but since that's not the case, use your gsr cluster or a loaner cluster from a buddy to see if your itr tach is the cause of the problems. figure that part out and then move from there. gL

i have the same problem, im going to check the continuity in the wire in the main harness right behind the firewall.
