strut bar question
I'm new here. I have a question about installing a Type-S strut bar on my Prelude. I figure OEM quality is about as good as it gets. I have a '97 Prelude base with a manual tranny. The problem is i don't think my car has the proper mounting hardware for the Type-S bar.

According to to ICBMotorsport.com I'm missing two bolts to mount it. (I've copied this exactly from their site)
IMPORTANT: Please make sure you have these 2 studs sticking out as shown in the green highlighted box, if you don't have this, you can't install this item.

I thought about possibly making my own mounts with some bolts, washers and nuts from Home Depot, but it seems a bit unreasonable. TEIN has also come out with some new strut bars recently and I've considered buying one of those instead since they tend to be inexpensive and good quality. I would really appreciate some advice aout this. Unfortunately, I don't have alot of experience with these cars. I've read through all the FAQ threads and such and they didn't answer my question. Anywho, thanks in advance.

This topic was actually covered recently, so everyone is probably going to flame you for not searching. I You need the four bolts and screws that have taping bars near the head to stop them from turning during installation. Any bolts with a thinly shaved head should work for this installation. If the bolt heads are too thick they will interfere with positioning of the pillow mounts.
Alright. Thanks. Sorry if I wasted anyone's time. I looked for quite a while on the boards and I couldn't find anything on this. Guess I was just looking in the wrong place.
