96-01 is the same for gsr, type r, and ls. 94-95 ls pumps are different from gsr pumps.

i have a 96 with a b20 in it now can I put a GSR oil pump in it, will i kinda have to becuase of the ecu. rugth ???

yea, you didn't know that the oil pressure is controlled electornically? And that the oil pump drive gear (driven by the crankshaft) has nothing to do with it? silly goose.

So a stock B20 oil pump will work fine with a vtec head?

VTEC oil pump = NON-VTEC oil pump?
