I'm curious if anyone has had a similar problem, I occasionally throw a CE for code 22 but only when I go WOT into 4th gear, 1 second into 4th gear the light goes on...otherwise the car runs great. I checked all my grounds and connections everything looks good as it should since the car runs great 99% of the time...seems like something to do with load ? I'm stumped for now.

 

22 - VTEC Oil Pressure Switch - defective circuit or unplugged / defective oil pressure switch

could be a sign that your oil pressure is dropping off for some reason.
I'd be looking at the connections, but you said you all ready checked those.

 

I'm in for this ...I have same problem code 22 VTEC oil pressure switch....my connections are all good also *shrugs*


edit: I hate that orange ******* engine light

 

somewhat of an update to this, I unplugged my vtec solenoid from the engine harness and started the car up...no ce light, I can't imagine thats normal behavior ?

 

take off vtec solenoid and clean it. or try another one

 

Do you have a VAFC hooked up?
