Thx Brad!!! I'm blushing..lol
EDIT I took the pics down .. theres a link in this post that has discussions with others on htec regarding coatings..
I'm not here to promote anything and have helped a few here with coatings by request..
you can see my personal one's in my motor build threads as well as the results after 10k miles and hundreds of dyno pulls..

Those look awesome.
Just a quick question though...would it be worth while to coat a PCT piston top? Would it help at all with detonation?

Whatever you "THINK" is going on isnt.. Brad sent me pistons to coat and I did them.. I dont promote any business nor do I run one.. I hook people up here if they want on a limited basis....
And theres no payback for anything as I paid for my headwork and Brad paid for his piston coatings..
Thanks for the kind words Brad but I'll have this post deleted now because people here like to assume things and I personally dont like to read things like the last comment..

Don't delete the topic... It's his ignorance for not checking out your previous thread regarding your coatings. If he knew what the differences were between your coatings and the rest, he wouldn't have made those comments int he first place.
Great job T-bone

as stated in my first post tom, im not here to hate on you guys, i have respect for both of you. its just ironic that brad gets some pistons coated right after the 255WHP thread. this post should not be deleted, its here for knowledge. i never once said that someone did or did not pay for the others work. just some pattin of the tushes here, no biggie.
even in that link its not explained why some coatings are better than others. from the jist of things it looks as if you and others agreed that most all coatings are the same but some have their "brand" associated with "their" coating.

other than that it appears that prep work is the most important thing to having a good coating stick.

tom u get a little too butthurt over the smallest things. seriously to the point that u took down the pictures.
i just want to know "why they are the best" thats all i asked
regarding tony the tiger, ive read toms posts on coatings in the past, as i mentioned i checked out the link he provided and never really came to a conclusion but what i had said above. everyone just calm down, you guys need to chill out, ur blood pressures must be sky high.

too bad the pictures are down(or were removed), but i can't make any decisions on why the coating he made for brad is good, better, or best compared to any other. with that said, i think brad should elavorate on his statements. with more in depth discussion, this thread might become a good informative discussion
happy easter everyone

Well Honestly there are the Best I have seen.. When I measured them the coating was very uniform ..
I have seen thousands of coated pistons In NASCAR they wont run anything that isnt coated..
Out of the coaters I have listed and few more i didnt.. It looked like a machine did them.. there wasnt over spray they were prepped and masked really nice..
I guess becuase he coats parts for f-16 's and the gov Tbones stuff is nice..
I was just trying to pass some good work along.. Thats all this thread was
The Title says it all " Best I have Seen"
And Il put it this way .. Tom will be getting calls from a few important NASCAR
Teams !!!!

Now, thats a far out statement.
Polydyne gets my
. Soon to see my motor on the dyno and its filled with polydyne coated parts.
<edit: Looks like a case of "Scratch my back and I'll scratch yours?" Tbone raves over your work and vice versa>
That's how business gets done.

That's what I am talking about!
I've also had pistons coated for a customer by Tbone.
Brad makes a good point. Tbone coats stuff for F16, F18 Hornet's etc.
If you have a vapor degreaser booth you might be able to do what he does.
