Alright guys and gals, for those who are interested, we are planning on eating dinner at Big Boy's restaurant, which is located next to Guesthouse Inn. We are thinking of a time frame from 6:00 -9:00. This way, there will be no parking issues.

As the time gets closer, I will need to get a very rough number of people who are interested. This is to make sure that the restaurant is not short-handed. So, be thinking about this as the time comes closer.

 

Are there any other choices? I don't even think they serve at Big Boy's, which is a prereq in my book. Not knockin' the choice, just trying to make sure it's the best one.

The biggest reason why it is so attractive, is because you can walk right to it from the hotel, and leave, and walk back. I have no idea if they serve

 

Just make sure they let us bring beer into the restaurant!

Sounds like a plan. We'll order some food, take it outside and drink beer/eat

Better watch it, transporting alcohol across state lines is a federal? offense. lol. half joking, half serious.

YD, who will be arriving on Saturday to consume mass quanitites of & 's and will be looking for hotties and strip clubs.

 

No, this is optional. The banquet is on Monday evening at the track.

 

This is a good plan, I think. You can leave your R parked in the hotel lot with all the other R's and walk next door for food. If people want to eat at 6, they can eat at 6. If people roll in much later, they can eat when they get in. If you want to hang out indoors where people are eating, you can hang out at the Big Boy. If you want to hang outdoors, you can do that too. Especially if you want to walk over after dinner to Sherman's Dairy Bar for ice cream. Yum!

BTW, I'm not sure whether Big Boy sells , but right next door to the Big Boy and the hotel is a BP service station with a mini-mart and I'm pretty sure you can buy cold ones there.

Still haven't gotten a definitive answer from fellow owners in NC on when departure time will be. I personally would like to leave Saturday morning...

 

The Midwest caravan WILL be in South Haven, Michigan on Sat (around 8pm or so). I personally plan on getting my fade on. &
