its an IRL race in the streets of St. Petersburg

Its the weekend of april 2nd and 3rd, its kind of short notice, but I am seriously planning on going, so if anyone else is interested PM, and maybe we could meet up or get a caravan going out there

St. Pete is a beautiful place - I grew up near there...

Would definitely go if I didn't live 1000+ miles away

 

This will be a real crash fest, if any of the cars can survive mechanicaly.

I'm going but I'm skipping the IRL event. I really want to see the Speed world challenge. Gonna get a paddock pass and check out the Realtime cars.

I will defiently be there. FYI I just bought the general admission ticket last year, but still made my way into the paddock and club/suite areas, ie on top of the garage.

 

^^ Those pictures are of Champcars, they are different from the oval sleds that are racing there now.

You can say that again! I can't stand the big Japanese manufacturers dumping money
in this primitive overweight sled just to be in the Indy 500.

 

Yes but they are pics from the St.Pete Gran Prix, to give people an idea of the layout and possible views.
