Default Intake/Header wrap?

Hey whats up guys, anyone know where i can get Intake/Header heat wrap? If anyone ever used it, did it really make the tubing of the intake/header that much cooler, and if so did you notice a significant performance increase? Thanks

it doesn't make the header any cooler really.. it just keeps heat out of the engine bay. if anything it makes the header hotter..

Not that that's a bad thing. Keeping the header hotter and, as a result, exhaust gases hotter does get you a performance increase as the exhaust doesn't slow down as much (cooler exhaust gas moves slower).

Downside is, i've heard a lot of people cracking their headers after wrapping them.
