I pray that his family's faith grows stronger even though God's plans and actions are sometimes hard to understand. In my mind, I fully believe that God owns everything and does what He feels is best. It is sometimes a very hard pill to swallow. I pray that through this tragedy, we can see the good. Nonetheless, it is still very, very sad

Chris was a great kid. Now his friends are working hard to make something good come out of this.

1.8liter and others in the KC area are working to put some plans together and start a compaign and foundation to help stop street racing in addition to helping those who have been hurt by these kinds of accidents.

fwiw - before anybody bags on Chris making a bad decision...he was extrememly smart, kind, and if he had ANY thoughts of the danger - he wouldn't have had this accident within 1/2 block from his families house. They have to drive by the skid marks (which are still there 3 months later) every day.

Anyone wishing to help with the foundation effort can get in touch with me directly (jeff@nocoastracing or jeff@itrca.com). I will funnel the details to this group as we get details laid out.

I talked to him at the Honda-tech meet awhile back.. He was a very nice person and seemed pretty cool... i wish i got to know him better tho. I hope his family is doing well because i could not amagine what pain they where in. This should make people think twice about speeding and street racing. My best wishes go out to his family and friends.

RIP

Hopefully everyone who has ever lost someone close to the street stupidity.... or has been in an accident where they know they're life was really spared by God.... KNOW that everyone isnt that lucky.
