how much for an alignment?
i see all these signs for an alignment being 35 bux which i thought wasnt bad. but i found that alot of places wont do them for lowered cars. i have a lowered 92 civic hatch and bought it dropped. i found a shop and they told me 100 for the front and 100 for the back. does that sound right? how much did u guys pay?

$200 is way too high, but you can't touch a 4 wheel alignment in these parts for $50. That's cheap. It would cost you more in the $90-100 range around here for the works. That's why I do it myself.

I'm talking about an alignment done on a quality laser rack by people who can check and adjust camber, caster, and toe. If they can do that correctly, you'll get a print out of information including thrust angle and such. Naturally, on your Honda, the camber can't be adjusted with just OEM parts.

Does that equal unlimited alignments for 3 years? Is that a hook up or a deal anyone can get in on? Are you lowered? There are 5 TiresPlus in the Atl area
Shop here wants $70. No camber kits and I've always heard caster is NOT adjustable on Hondas (civic's to be specific). Just to get the toe put in spec is 70 bones here
I don't know why it matters if the vehicle is lowered or not. The only problem here I see is getting on to the ramps. The shop has wood boards to assist though. Other than that the 4 wheels are just mounted with some kind of funky square machine to the outer rim. Then the tech uses another lift to pick the front or rear chasis up off the ramp if needed.

I charge $69.99 on lowered cars for a 4 wheel alignment. Its great if you have camber kits because the price includes all necessary adjustments to get it in spec. Without a kit on a Honda, its pretty much set the toe, set the psi, check for worn out parts and let it ride
