itr steering wheel removal/install
so gonna try to pick one up non-srs... just need to know how to remove and install... searched without any luck... any help would be appriciated... thanks in advance...
the best thing to do would be to pick up a shop manual on the car.it will run you step by step exactly what you need to do so you dont have the airbag blow up in your face. you can just go down to autozone or whatever and pick up one of those cheap ones, those usually have enough info to get you through it safely
dont pick one up at autozone i work there get one at checkers they have chilton and autozone carrys haynes which sucks *** get a chiltion youll thank me later
i just bought the a jdm itr non srs steering wheel and im having problems installing it on my 95 integra ls. i was able to take off the air bag and stock wheel, but how do i install the new wheel? what do i do with the srs and cruise control plugs? they're in the way. would i have to buy some sort of adapter for it? any info is appreciated!

Search, this has been covered many times in the itr forum.......
You really should buy yourself a helms. If you cant figure out how to take off the SRS cable reel (srs/cruise/horn plugs) then maybe you shouldnt be messing with it.

ive been searching all day and found nothing
but the srs cable reel isnt even the problem, i kno to unplug it. the problem im having is actually bolting on the new wheel. it doesnt seem to fit right. after bolting on the 19mm nut the wheel would either be too tight to steer with or too loose. plus i think i need a washer or something the nut is rubbing on the top of the wheel. its hard to explain
help plz! btw ive got a chiltons manual but that didnt help me much either

hmm, thats weird because i searched and found a thread on how to remove the srs unit and cruise control, but it was on a DA i believe. But it helped me out when i replace my 95 steering wheel with a 98 type r one. I don't know where the thread is but it's out there.

have you tried turning or wiggling the wheel side to side? if it doesn't fit then i don't know what else to tell you.. maybe you bought the wrong steering wheel?
