B18C1 Stroker Kit
Im new to the forrum so please dont laugh. Im in the process of doing a rebuild and i was thinking hard about going with a crower stroker kit with JE pistons 11.5:1 or so. It will be a low mileage daily driver but I have heard some negative things about stroker kits concerning engine life. That's why i'm coming to you to lend me some advice and ideas about what to do. I am going all motor so keep that in mind and for right now I would be keeping the stock size pistons due to the downtime of sleeving.
I am speaking from what I have heard, not from experience. From what I understand it is not a simple drop in install. The longer throws of the new crank may require some of the block material to be removed. So a machine shop is your best bet.
what about the engine life though I know there are some clearence issues but im more conserned about the daily driving right now anyone done a stroker kit?
