What i did was mine was cut off the bolt as close to the lca as possible, once i did that the lca could swing down and i was able to get vice grips on the threaded part and unthread it.

what did you use to cut the bolt? the bolt broke off just after the head and about a quarter of an inch in, i can move the lca around but the damn thing wont slide out, the metal part of the damn bushing is stuck to the bracket, i tried hammering it and it still wont budge. the bracket bends, but the bushing/lca wont come/slide out.

i may have to use a extractor tool, i just hope its not too rusted in there.

great diagram!! my bolt broke off where you made the first cut on the left side. i guess ill try and cut the second spot. but it didnt look like there was enough room there for vice grips. what did you use to cut, angle grinder?

well ill definatly replace the bushings, im switching over to urethane bushings, and im taking out the DA lca because my car is a 88 and i want to use the 88 lca (the rear strut is different).

but did you also use vice grips on the remainder of the bolt? or did you drill the remainder out? and what did you use to cut?? angle grinder?

This is that i used to cut the bolt (metal cutting blades) took about half a hour and 2 bladesbecause of the grade of the bolt

once it was cut and out of the way i locked on som vicegrips and turned it out.

Use a sawsaw and a torch, along with some penetrating fluid. It only took me about 15 minutes a bolt.
