Thanks guys.Brian
ask him what you want to know about the car?? has it been modded, how has it been driven, maintencance records, get a compression test...theres a million things to go over
Begin by researching the car like Any other car out there that you'd buy second hand.
It's a Honda. So if it was cared for properly and serviced at the proper intervals it should be pretty sound. Just like any other Honda.
Try to stay away from theft recoveries, seriously modded or cheaply modded ones.
And if you have any specific questions ask them Specifically.
Otherwise, there's loads of information here that you can research yourself and more than a few posts just like yours that have been asked and answered in the archives already.
Best of luck.
And get either a CW or NBP, PY is for PHaiRieS.

First, ask if there had been any major accidents or issues with the car. Also ask if the car has a clean title and if he owns it out right. Then ask for the VIN # to run carfax, where you can confirm what he told you about the car. Next, go and check out the car, and have a trusty mechanic do an overall inspection. It should cost around $100, but it is well worth it.

I would think to ask the basic questions, and also do a VIN check on carfax. Things to ask for might be service receipts or history of the car, accidents, clean title, etc? Also make sure you take a look yourself at the car inside and out....or better yet, if you're serious enough about the car, request the owner to let you get it inspected at a local dealer or mechanic of your choice. Of course, this would be your own out of pocket expense. good luck.
