ok just recently i replaced my stock intake manifoldl for my ls with a skunk 2 im.... i replaced the gasket and everything ... that gasket blew out so i went and got one from honda and replaced it again and now its starting to leak in the same spot ..... right where the heater hose connects to the intake manifold its leaking btween the manifold and the gasket ... i ordered a gasket from hondata two days ago does anyone think this will help... or do you have any other ideas like rtv selant or anything like that ... please let me knwo i need this car to work its my dd
Thanks
Thanks
1. Is it torqued correctly?
2. Is the any debris leftover from a previous gasket?
3. Hondata gaskets are thick, they 'should' seal better, but there's less stud space for the nut to go on and tighten down. So you 'might' have to replace the studs with longer ones.
4. Is the manifold or head slightly warped?

if it's leaking BETWEEN the manifold and the head, either there's an imperfection in the manifold, gasket, or head. It could be possible that there was an imperfection in the head that the original manifold conformed to over time. Now that you've replaced it with a new manifold, the possibility is there that you may have a bad head. Slim chance, but there is one.
Aside from that, the manifold could be defective if the studs you're tightening down on are good. I'm not sure if the very end holes on your head/manifold uses bolts instead of studs, but either way, I'd check the threads and the seal to see if they're actually tightening down like they should be.

well i gave it a try this morning got up at 5 am with the woman... dropped her off at work came back and pulled the car in at my garage ..... nothing not a damn thing at all..... see the coolant is actually leaking less now but i know its leaking when i smell the coolant and everyonce in a while a lil steam will come from the hood.... but ... i check all the thread i even used a thread chaser on all them ... the studs are mint and yes the outside holes are bolts instead of studs dont know why... but they are...
It kinda seems to me like there is something liek up with the gasket though so imma just wait till the new gasket gets here and we will see in time what is going on ...
Thanks for your help man i really appreciate it immensly

Yeah, Honda did put studs on all the inner portions with bolts on either end. So don't freak, it was meant to be that way.
Good luck with the new gasket.
Don't forget to completely clean the area with a degreaser, then keep an eye on it after the next few drives to see if anything still comes out. It could possibly be leftover residue from a leak you may have already fixed.
