Car cant keep an idle, bogs, stutters, runs like total sh*t, cant even get past 3000 RPM!!!!!! help!

Car cant keep an idle, bogs, stutters, runs like total sh*t, cant even get past 3000 RPM!!!!!! help!
i really need help
car is a 94 civic ex
the problem first occurred when i was punchin it, right when VTEC engaged it bogged and stuttered. It was randomly redlining after 4K, sometimes i could get to 5K and sometimes 6K.
then it died.
so i pop the hood, everythins ok. i try to start it it wont start. my friend messes with the ecu shakes it a bit and it starts but throws a CEL. im thinkin its the ecu chip, so i pull out the ecu chip. the CEL is still there and it still runs like ****, this time i cant gte past 3000RPM and i cant go over 25 mph without it bogging and stuttering. so i slap in a JUN chip, the CEL is gone but the car running like **** is still there.
any ideas guys??
