I was splooging all over myself a few weeks ago when I saw the NSX-R GT pics.. until I learned it's still NA and the scoop is a "dress up" item
If Honda has to produce it to homologate the twin-turbo NSX for GT500, then make the 5 road-going examples TT too!
half a million bucks bahahaa

The NSX is a great car...but suffers from an extremely inflated price (though from what i understand, the profit off this car isnt as high as you would think given the hand built nature of the car and other variables)...in 5-10 years, it will be awesome to pick one up for $30k-$35k...(not this one obviously but an NSX none the less).
That is a nice car.

thats the honda trick, sell him rediculously high and only make 5 so they're not stuck with it... 10 bucks says they wouldnt sold 6 at that price! JK

Its the hottest $400,000 body kit i've seen this week.
Youd think maybe for an extra $400,000K they'd install some forged wheels, or maybe a new air intake...
actually another 6 cylinders would work too.

I don't think pure power numbers is the point of this car. I'm betting your car would take a pretty hard spanking on a lap around the Nurburgring from this thing...
But I agree that price is insane.

I think the point of the car was to meet homologation requirements, don't think they were making a serious go at producing this car for the masses. The high price tag was probably because they didn't really want anyone to buy it, or perhaps it was to raise money for the JGTC program. Whatever the idea I'm sure its a pretty interesting story.

You can pick up a nice early NSX for $30-35K right now. Even less if you don't mind high mileage or other issues.

if i had so much money and i didnt know what to do with it, id be more than honored to have a car that only 4 other people have... better yet a car company president and be allowed to drive concept cars that didn't make it, daily!
