Whats up i want to put a drag radial on either my 14" HX Rims or my 15" LS rims to use stricly when im on the track...but my question is which size rims would be better for the drag radial setup
??? ...i have a mid to dead low 14 second car

 

i was thinking the 14"'s because the rim is really light but i could be wrong i dunno..does anyone know

 

14s are lighter and tires are cheaper!

 

so it would be better to just use the 14"'s with drag radials ? correct ?

 

Just depends on your power, I ran 205/50/14 BFG's on my HX wheels. They are great but not a slick. For a drag radial I prefer BFG 15" sizes, u can get a bigger tire, more sizes are available..

 

alright so if u were in my shoes running mid to dead low 14's would u pick the HX setup wit drag radials or 15"'s i jus want a final answer lol so i could order it lol

 

i would go 205/50/15 bfg dr's. wider meat available for 15" in 225s too

 

I got a set of blades with 225 50 bfgs. but just got some mh dots from john 235 60 14 on some HX's look forward to trying them in the next couple weeks.

have you ever try 235/60/15 drag radial?

 

the 235 60 15 IMO is too tall of a tire for his car (its 26.1") while the 235 60 14 is 25" and the 225 50 15 bfg is 24"

 

what your opinion on tire size for nopi power street: 225/50/15, 235/60/15, 215/60/14 on civic eg 400 whp b18c1 w/ b16 tranny?

 

I think in powerstreet the street tire must be a radial tire. IM not 100% sure if that is true than that emlinmates the mh dots 235 60 14(awesome tire for ur car) and 235 60 15. From the remaining choices i would say 225 50 15 bfg.
