Default Will an Exedy Organic Clutch hold?

Basically, I need to change my clutch in preparation to the JUN cams going into my JDM H22. I want something that'll keep the stock feel and effort, and hold the hp/tq that it'll *potentially* produce. So with that said...

Would an Exedy Organic clutch hold the tq? Would I be cutting it a little close? I've read people mention Exedy "Stage II" clutches... what are those? The cerametallic?

Any useful information is appreciated, thanks.

I've been running on an Exedy Organic for a while with Jun cams, and it holds well enough. It's a good streetable clutch and I believe it can hold the power well.

Almost NOTHING you will do to an N/A you'll have to worry about the Exedy Racing Organic holding the power. What you need to worry about is if you're trying to do launches with it. If you're going to be doing drag launches with it then you're going to want to upgrade to a Kevlar or ceramic pucked clutch. They handle drag launches much better than organic. I believe that the Exedy is rated up to 200 ft/lbs of torque which I highly doubt that you'll get close to.

How about a clutch from clutchmasters...Really good clutches...Stage 3 would fit your application...

yea my exedy organic mated to an 8lb fidanza flywheel is loud as ****. chatters at low RPM when cold, and makes a rukus when I let up off the gas on the highway. The flywheel came with documentation that specifically said noise from the transmission will be increased, so I guess its all normal.

I'm happy with the performance. It would probably be much quieter on the stock flywheel.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I have couple more questions, though...

CM looks pretty good. Would the Stage 2 or 3 require a break in period? How's the pedal feel? Any chatter? Would I be able to "ride" the clutch? I prefer to feather my launches, rather than dropping the clutch. Thanks for the help.

If you are NA, the Exedy Race clutch is MORE than enough. They are the best priced too. Anything else is a waste.

Honestly, I haven't run anything but Exedy in my car and I'm a satisfied customer.
Yeah it does chatter alot when cold (plus I have es inserts which doesn't help), but it grabs well and it is priced better than others. You have to sacrifice a little for any clutch.

And yes there is a break-in for any type of clutch.

Exedy makes the OEM clutch disc for the Honda's....

The OEM clutch disk and pressure plate will be fine... really.

I did notice that the fidenza lightened flywheel helped the shift quality on the prelude.
