really need help... car smokes in higher RPMs and idles bad
my car was turbo i blew that motor switched out to a d16y7 just to get me from point a to point b while i saved for something better this motor is from salvage yard or something my friend got it off some one the tag said 40*** miles or somin... anyhow i got the car in it started up fine the only thing i did was change the timing belt and put in bosch platnim 2 plugs/apc 9.3 plug wires from a d15b7 head i had laying around... the car ran good for 50 miles then smoked white i brung it home found out the oil smelled like gas completly changed out fuel injectors/o-rings/FPR, changed the oil and cranked it , it idled really bad... not eratic but lik 7-- rpm and sounds like its misfiring or something... reved up to mayb 4.5+ rpm it smokes blue... not a drastic amount but noticible and the car feels like its lacking power... all the wires are firing the distributor is in correct order im almost positive ill check again tomorrow, its grounded on the transmission, and thermostat... im waiting on some cash to get a compression test guage and run that... but is there anyway it could be that im using a d15b7 distributor,plugs and wires? could it be the SAFC2 i reset it since the turbo the settings are 0% across high and low... the sensors correct pressure 06 06 and the cars 4cyl angled up to the right so it shouldnt be doing anything except maybe advancing the timing... should i check the timing could that make it smoke blue in higher RPM? i really need help because i really need this car running... this is the third swap ive put in my own car so i know its wired up correct... also i had 450inj with the resistor mod but the resistors were removed and wires were reconnected like stock... ANY input or ideas are appriciated plz
edit: im also using a d15b7 ecu i had a d16z6 ecu on it first... and im running a z6 header and z6 intake manifold... all the intake sensors are z6 but the head are from the y7 should i change them out with some spare i have? do i have to do anything to run this y7 like a obd1 other than what ive done?
