external or internal coil???????

Default external or internal coil???????

My freind has a h23 external coil in his prelude SI and we are putting in a h22a with internal coil how do we wire it up????????????

I think you can use the H23 external distributor. Just remove the jdm h22's internal coil distributor and install the H23's external dizzy. I looked up the part numbers for brand new usdm h22 and h23 dizzys and the part numbers are the same TD-61. I'm pretty sure they'll work .

Nice avatar... post up a larger picture.

To wire up an aftermarket ext coil do this...

join the BLK and BLK/YEL wires together and then hook this up to the + coil
the remaining wire (i believe BLU) will be your - Coil.
