Tie rod question
I found out recently that I have a bad tie rod, and i'm not going to be able to get it fixed for another week. I have read that there can be serious problems that can occur if you continue to drive on it while its bad, which makes me a liittle nervous since I have no other car to drive. Does anyone have any input on this?
how bad is it????
ive driven on bad tie rods b4 but no incidents occurred..
but its still serious so I recommend to do it asap..
if the tie rods break you will have no control of your car

I had a buddy drive it the other day, and he said its not all that bad. It just feels loose and vibrates a little. I guess i'm just wondering how bad it has to be, before it just totally gives out.

when a tie rod is wearing out and you find out, the car feels that much more unstable than before....almost just your mind playing tricks on ya. But if the shaking progresses, stop driving.
Try jacking up the front and wiggle the front wheel. See if you can move it......if you can, dont drive.
