I know this should be in forced induction, but they werent helpin me out, so maybe you guys can.
Recently I wrecked my h22 crx . My freind traded me his 88 crx si for the h22. The si has a fresh and very healthy d15b7. With the car, my freind also gave me a turbo kit consisting of an hf manifold, dsm 450 inj., conquest intercooler, dsm bov, tdo5 turbo, a lightweight aluminum flywheel, 6-puck unsprung clutch, a "stacked" head gasket, a vtec head, and an fmu.
I have never had a turbo car before and I was wondering if I should install this kit. The car will be a daily driver.
What are the advantages of the thicker head gasket? Can I run more boost safely?
Should I buy an afc or will the fmu be sufficient?
Should I install this clutch setup, or just the flywheel?
Would it be worth it to install the vtec head?
Will a healthy d15b7 be reliable on boost if tuned correctly?
