Default Legendary Billy Glidden to drive Scranton Bros. new Solara!

NHRA IMPORT.com

"Scranton also reports that Toyota Racing Development has contracted Rick Jones at RJ Race Cars, which builds the Scranton team’s cars, to build and design Solara bodies that will be NHRA-accepted that people buy from their local Toyota dealer for their race cars. The Scrantons hope to debut one of the new bodies in August. The team also is considering adding a third car to its stable – perhaps to be driven by Ford Pro Street ace Billy Glidden, son of legendary NHRA Pro Stock racer Bob Glidden."

This is insane news. His dad is already known for winning all these years in drag racing. His son, Billy is already known in the 5.0 Mustang NMRA. The ProRWD class is gonna be soooo insane. We got people crossing over from domestics into the Sport Compact market. I think we should see some big names come in. Should be really cool. Hopefully, he wont come in like IHRA ProMod champion Bob Rieger came in.

Billy Glidden is a stud driver. He has had a huge amount of success in the Mustang scene in the past like the Scrantons. Pro RWD is slowing turning into the Pro 5.0...... LOL....

When you use considering and perhaps in the same sentance I would expect this to be less than confirmed or official. Would be great if it was true.

I agree, I've known billy for a long time from back in the superstreet outlaw days and I have never seen billy drive any thing that didn't have a huge bottle on it, or 2 or 3 bottle's, he is pretty anti-turbo and anti-supercharged, he makes a living out runing guys with big motors and alot of nitrous, he is ussually the only nitrous car in the field, but who know's he likes to do things that people say can't be done!
