stupid spark plug question
My friend is going to be replacing my cam seal/plug in my 90' DA tomorrow and he told me I should get some new spark plugs before he comes over. My B18A is completely stock. What kinda plugs do I need to get?? He just told me to get NGK's. What type of NGK spark plugs should I get?? Are there different types of spark plugs for different cars or are they all the same?? I know these are probably dumb questions but I dont know **** about cars!!!
For 90-91 integras
NGK Spark Plugs 1273
V-Power (copper); Resistor; BCPR5E-11; @ Gap .044"
NGK Spark Plugs 2372
Platinum; BCPR5EVX-11; @ Gap .044"
You can get either one, since you said you know nothing about cars and probably don't want to change your plugs every 15-20k miles, just get the platinums (they last closer to 60k), although copper actually conducts better than platinum.
Anyone who needs this info for 92-93 Integras, here it is:
NGK 2262, V-Power ZFR5F-11, Gap .044
NGK 4363, Platinum PZFR5F-11, Gap .044

i dunno if it has it on that yr, but you might wanna check on the side of the engine to see if it says which plug to use. i got a different part # for the platinums, all i saw was for laser plats though:
