Default How to make your R a little bit safer

Well a part of it

For $1.99 I got three of those locks
I thought I would try...
The last thing I need is for someone to ****** it while parked or for the nut/bolt to loosen and shoot the silencer out at a car behind me

It's made out of brass, no problems with rust

Why not use a screw instead of a lock?

The lock itself may be brass, but the metal loop that latches into it only has a rust proof coating on it. I had similar locks, and the cheap metal coating flaked off and began to rust. Also water got inside the lock and it ended up rusting shut. Just a heads up..

Thats nuts! Who would want to steal a silencer? I dont know... I never ran one so I guess i'm not aware of the high rate of silencer thefts?
