Eibach springs with OEM steel retainers

As an option and alternative to Ti retainers (for those who don't wish to wait for them), we have finished valve motion and harmonic analysis to certify Eibach valve springs for use with OEM retainers with some caveats:

For our profiles, the steel retainer will work with the Eibach spring but we recommend only using in a race application because the installed heights are so low that the valve open wire stress is pretty high, thus the springs will have a reduced life.

Flat steel retainer with Eibach spring at 1.590" outer installed height is good to 9200rpm.

Dished steel retainer with Eibach spring at 1.625" outer installed height is good to 8900rpm.
