....it's the one of some young driver who takes his CW ITR on a rise on the road at high speed. The rise is enough that the car gets air. Unfortunately, the car lands badly, driver loses control on landing, car digs in and rolls....one or both people in the cabin died. A friend was outside the car filming.

I've searched both H-T and Google. I need this file to show my young nephw (has a few too many rocks in his head), and my best friend and brother in this world who has more rocks in his head because he doesn't realize the stupid things his kid does.

Best friend isn't a car guy (is more of a Euro badge *****), however, his kid has always looked up to me and my toys. After much pleading and convincing, nephew gets Dad to buy him a NBP ITR. I already caught him trying to race a fellow importer on the street....it was me. I recently took off all the decals and sponsor stickers off my S2000....even with all the Mugen stuff on my car, he didn't realize that it was ME and MY CAR.

I gave him a stiff lecture, but didn't tell his father. I need to shake some sense into both these guys. I sure don't want to lose my nephew, nor do I want to be in a position to have to support my best friend in the time of a loss.

Please offer up any advice, and direct me to the file (I sure hope you all know which one I'm talking about).

I can't really offer up advice, but the stories are all over car forums, in the Kill Stories, etc., of people getting hurt and killed from street racing - even innocent bystanders or drivers/passengers.

omg thats so sad to see that. for how the car landed on the road is it pretty much just not possible to gain control back?

I also picture a couple of things when I hear about street racing. One was the s2k video where the guy from behind is filming in his car and you see the s2k in front go off the canyon road on a turn and you hear the girl filming screaming.

And the other was while doing a canyon run, seeing a new WRX that was behind me screw up on a turn, hit a wall and burst into flames. That really shook me up seeing that. Thankfully the owner was somehow unharmed and no airbag went off.

This is a really really good idea. First off, get it out of his system (hopefully!)

Second off, car control techniques in a teenager are lessons for life.

on my first trip to the Honda Junkyard to find some odd part for this or that, my eyes were opened.

not only from just seeing the countless civics and integras completely smashed, but also seeing the cars where there was no possible way for someone to survive.
Many of those with huge blood stains in them. That really opened my eyes and that is what made me look into autocross

If you have a honda/ acura junkyard, i suggest planning a field trip. the one i go to is Honda parts connection in Buford GA. it is one of the biggest on the east coast, so im told
