I vote for which everyone you want....because opinions are like buttholes everyone has one. Fully built for turbo, NA, NOS, supercharger, track, or street? Need to know what you are going to do with the car before you choose and engine and tranny combo.

there is a saying... that i read before....
THE BEST ENGINE THERE IS ...IS WHAT YOUR MONEY, TIME, AND EFFORT WAS PUT INTO....
all of the engine listed are all great engine with very high potential if built right... and which route you take in modifying it...
N/A or BOOST

this is just really DUMB.
EDIT* ahh didn't look at how much of a noob you were... i guess its a valid question.
there really isn't a best motor. it depends on many factors. its more like what is the best motor for "YOU".
How much $ you have to spend, how fast you want to go, if you plan on going turbo or supercharged, what vehicle you have......ect....ect....ect.....

Well seeing as how you just started here 2 weeks ago and your pretty young compared to some of the crowds here...you asked a very open ended, very opinionated question. Basically asking anything about is A better than B without giving alot of details will get you hell in return. They're all good motors, just depends what you want it for. And I'll tell you, if you just search around this site you'll find you'll never have to really post a single question. Just search around for the answers....

The 3 cylinder that powers the Chevy Metro.. and you can get the 3 speed automatic transmission and put a shift kit in it.
You know its funny. I saw one of your other posts telling some newb to search. Why don't you take some of your own advice and search. It is going to depend on how much money you have and what your goals are.

Ok now we're going somewhere :D
Ok 6000...If i can just say, i have a b16a in my Crx, its a fun little car, but still not really that fast. The H22 is def. the hardest to get into that car, no one makes bolt in mounts for our car to my knowledge thus far, i stopped heavily researching it a few months back, but with the K out now, I'm not sure if they will get to making mounts for it.
You could easily get the b18C1 into that car, i met a guy 2 weeks ago at the track with that engine with the basic bolt on's and some head work running high 13's.
The K is damn expensive to do, involves alot of work but def. a good pay off. That would be a very quick car. If your interested check out k20a.org , they got all the info you'll need.
I personally wouldn't go for the B18C5, but it is def. a good motor, but if your looking to do alot of after market work, internally...the b18c1 is your best bet. So yeah...
What you think?

Get a D16z6
send it to Golden Eagle to be resleeved
then buy some Eagle rods, JE pistons,
Port and Polish head
buy a GT28RS, fill in the other turbo ****
then eat all those other engines alive
AND put the money you saved into a IRA(or beer)
but for your NA goals hit up the B18C1 with Hondata
Good luck

Now that is how you should have posted your original question.
The more info you can give the better the answers you get will be. Ok 6000 probably won't be enough for the k20. I may be just enough for the b18c5. My choice would be the b18c1 or jdm b18c. Fairly inexpensive and very potent setup in the ed chassis. A guy on here ran 11.76 in the 1/4 mile with a b18c1 and 7psi of boost in a crx.
