What Honda uses....
yeah that glue or whatever it is where they seal the frame and the metal parts. It looks like liquid nail but damn it holds and it is soo hard. Any idea what is it? I am trying to get one ??
no...its hondabond.
JB weld is an epoxy. Hondabond is a sealant (for like the transmission housings).
At the dealer expect to pay out the *** (close to $15.)
Just go to the auto store and get Permatex Ultra Grey...its less than $5 and works just as well.
Dont use jb weld unless you would concider welding whatever it was that youre doing.

It's not Hondabond... it's called body/seam sealer. You can get many kinds at body shop supply stores. Check out some at the 3m site, etc. You get into the expensive-*** guns and stuff sometimes, though. I got some urethane sealer in caulking tubes at sears which dried very hard and tough like that. I think it contains water, though and when applied to unpainted, raw metal some rust formed under the bead. The real stuff is the best.
