Default Track times of the B20/B17

Terrible.

I broke an axle on my first run.. but I didn't realize it til I have halfway down the track.

Wasn't even on slicks! I launched at 3500-ish on street tires. Heard a loud POP, which caused me to miss second. I was like "WTF?".. so I kept on it.. by the time I was in 3rd gear the car was vibrating uncontrollably.. so I let off before the traps.

With a 2.4 60ft. time and letting off about 100ft. before the traps, I hit a 13.5@101

Luckily, since I had a welded differential I made it home alright. I hobbled it back to Naples(1.5hrs. away)
I wasn't ABOUT to pay for a tow truck for over 120 miles, no way.

I figure if I can get a 2.1 60ft.. this thing will be knocking on 12s in street trim on radials. I weighed the car, too. 2400lbs. with me in it and half a tank of gas.

erminio hit a 14.0, but this was his first time drag racing EVER.

keith ran his car to a 13.5 w/ a 2.1 60ft

those Z10 bars rule.

BTW, for those wondering... Mike M. has the ATS 4.929 and he has to shift into 5th gear in the 1/4 mile. Redline is at 8900rpm.

Just something to consider....

I would hope so.. considering the 2.4 60ft.. and the fact that I let off and STILL hit 13.5@101.9, it BETTER be high 12s/low 13s on radials.

I'm gonna pull some more weight off and get rid of that welded diff.
Undecided on a Quaife or OEM ITR diff....

Huh? I missed something... Mike M or Mike K has the 4.9?

I say 12.7-12.9 with a little weight reduction and some 555's...

.....why do I get the feeling you'll go with itr lsd because it's at such a low cost for you? Although ats lsd and ats final go hand in hand...

Yo mike, tried to call and speak to both you and Bob, but both of you were on the phone. I gave them my 877 number here at work for them to call me back. Thanks for the heads up.
