ebay clutchs- does any one have one? how are they?
does anyone have a "XTD" clutch? do you like it? i was just wondering because they are cheap, and if they are any good i may get one. just wanted to find out what people had to say about them? here is the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...&rd=1
I know a friend who bought a exedy one. Its good quality and people seem to like them. Exedy
Ive seen the XTD ones, but they seem like knock off ones... they sound almost the same XTD/Exedy... dunno.

i got one, good quality i got a stock organic disc(it was an exedy) and the heavy duty pressure plate and super cheap aluminum flywheel, all of it looks good
I bought an OEM replacement exedy clutch kit for about $100 from a business on ebay, they sell lots of them. Its been great so far, Ive got about 2000 miles on it and ites held up really well.

I installed the exedy one off ebay this past weekend when I did my shortblock swap, grabs nice and for only 120 shipped you can't beat it. Parts stores want 180+ for the same kit. Buy from aimcoclutch, he's who sold me mine. The guy didn't provide any tracking info, but he did ship it the same day
If you go to http://www.autozone.com you can see all the different prices. I got an ls in my hatch and the clutch only cost me like 60 or 70 bucks haha i just like it cause its cheap.
yeah i got mine from aimcoclutch too you can call the phone # listed and talk to him directly i think his name is jimmy, dont go with that stage 3 clutch go with an organic disc and a heavy duty plate
I can get you an ACT clutch disc for $61, is that not cheap ? And the brand is one of the best out there. Nothing to worry about.

hey rich i am 98% sure that that company of clutch is what Derek dropped in the mr2 after he did the swap so i would say they are good to holed that an for the price of that clutch you could get the center force clutch like mine and we both no how much **** i put that thro
I got an XTD stage 1 clutch from aimco I belive and it seems to be pretty nice for the price. It's manufactured by Daikin, which is one of the main, if not the main Japanese clutch manufacturer, so it's a quality peice.
Put it on with my Zex 7 lb. flywheel and it feels incredibly nice. Although I have not had this clutch for very long, so take this for what it is... but yeah seems like a good deal to me.

All clutches crap out after a certain time.. depends how you treat em. Especially racing ones, they don't last as long as stock replacements.
