longer wheel studs and source of the same
I searched high and low for longer studs becasue I run spacers and just for safety. ARP has some 12mm x 2.5 inches that are for GM cars and they are great. Honda/Acura lug nuts fit right on them The knurled part is a fraction to big but just run your grinder around the splines a tad bit just to take the tops off them. Cost is about 2.50 each. The old ones at least on the rear knock out with a brass hammar and then you can pull the new ones in with a lug nut. No need to take off the hub and use a press. Expierment with the amount you grind off on one of them. the longer studs will go in the back wheels without taking anything but the wheel off if you have the backing plates off. the front ones require removing the hub but that is a no brainer. Hope this saves someone some grief.
Morosso also makes nice ones that fit right in w/o grinding.
Mike, roadracers use longer ones in the rear for safety w/ certain wheels, etc...many class rules require a certain amount of thread to be showing through open lugs.
