Default For 2000-2001 what is the percentage of black to yellow R's

I am wondering because I see alot more yellow R's than Black one's

I really dont think that it is a 50% mix.

if not what do you think is the mixture.

I would guess 70%yellow--30%Black

I only post this because someone in another post said White R's are the rarest. not that I care, but it sparked this question in my head

thanks------------------------------m

I have seen 2 black R's on the road total. I have seen 6 PY, and 4 CW. Maybe I don't get out much...Or maybe I don't notice the other colors as easily as yellow...

i just think the yellow and white are so noticeable to the eye...black is more of a "normal" color, and u dont notice it as much

Yellow R's are the faster ones, that why more people bought them over Black...

But for real, I'd say that it is probably 60%-40% in favor of yellow.

I believe they go liek this starting from most to least:

yellow-2 years and i heard that they were the majority for both years. I believe 1500 for 2k and 2k1
White-2 years only color, but both years totaled less than 2k and 2k1. 350 in 97 and 500 in 98 i think
black- 2 years, but the minority to the yellow. i heard only 182 black ones made it in 2k, i dont know the 2k1 stat, but it was still the minority compared to the yellow

I still think it's 50/50 honestly between PY and black ITRs for their respective years.

I believe there were more PY's than Blacks. In my neighborhood there's 5 PY's, and I'm the only black one.

According to my dealership the black is hard to get colour because they didn't make many and just the fact the colour was changed between the two yrs just makes them even rarer. According to them they said they order 4 ITR's and told them just give us the next 4 off the line in order so they did. Well 3 yellows and 1 black. Another dealership did the same 3yellows and 1 black again. There is only 2 black ITR in this state I know of and one is mine and other fellow lives in Jefferson county and own black Rx-7 as well too.

I still think there are more yellow than black, it wouldn't have been fair to have only a few slow yellow ones with all the fast black ones.

i think its 50/50 the yellow is just alot more noticeable, just like the si's the blue is the more noticeable color so it tends to catch your attention more

I still see my fair shares of red, and blacks though. I think more PY's were made, because they probably predicted more people would want the flashier color, one where people will look at, and know right off the bat that it's an ITR. They probably did it for economical reasons, thinking the PY's would sell more. IMO I couldn't care less if mine was yellow or black, owning one, is owning one.

What's with the attitude? You act as if you know yourself the exact number. Even if we did go to itrca.com it still wouldn't be an exact count ... would it? Not every ITR across the U.S. is accounted for in that site. So actually you're the one sitting at home typing crap, because you don't know yourself! You could have stated nicely that the counts at itrca.com might help, but you insisted that we all are typing crap, and that we don't know. Next time, why don't you just insist that we go check, instead of acting like you're a big shot, that knows everything. Who knows you migt be right, but the way you worded your post really IMO made you seem like an ***.

Total # of ITR's on ITRCA = 693
Total # of ITR's in the US ~ 5000

Hmm..............

Well I sure there is good # of ITR's around that no one takes in, the number of the ones wrecked or stolen which I'm sure makes up certain percentage of total ITR's
