throttle bodies are tapered to concentrate air towards the center of the plenum. supposely it helps with even air distribution into the runners. how helpful it is i don't know.

no i didnt start a thread about but he sent me money then put it on hold and i was having trouble shipping out the itb's because at the time i was only work 75 hours a week and it was difficult to get off of work i told him they were 48mm itb's and i never mic'd them or anything and i got them from a friend of mine,so i figured everything was cool, well i end up getting the itb's off and he recieves them, the whole time my money is still on hold,well he gets them and says there 45mm and bashes me etc etc,well its been about 2 months now and he still has my money on hold and he says he wants to send them back to me which i am perfectly fine because if he does not want them i will use them, well he wont answer e mails or im's post or anything, so he has my itb's now and he also has over a 1000 of my money still on hold so i sit here with my hand on my nuts and have nothing....no itb's or money, so ive waited and waited and still no response so if he wants to bitch about them and doesnt want them i am more then willing happy to go ahead and take them back because like i said before i will certainly use them.but i dont have any itb's or my money and no response from this ******

Since you called me a dick I thought I'd get in on this:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Pushperformer &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">For sale: TWM ITB'S 48mm</TD></TR></TABLE>

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by HondaIntegraR
&raquo;
</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">as you can see these are ~1.7x inches, but ill round up to 1.8 inches
1.8in= 45.72 mm
</TD></TR></TABLE>

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Pushperformer &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">the person i got them from rdhciviceg told me they were 48mm i never mic'd them so i didnt know for sure, </TD></TR></TABLE>

Maybe I don't know alot about ITBs, but I do know that if you advertise something and then sell something else, you are a scammer. Care to explain that?

The guy made a mistake and promptly refunded the full purchase price when it was discovered. That's not a scammer, that's an honest person who made a mistake (as we all do from time to time), then took appropriate steps to remedy it. If the other guy kept the money and the ITB's, then he is a thief and should be locked up and prison-gang-raped.

and even though it might have taken him a while to get them out and they werent the right thing, you are now the scammer for not sending the stuff back. i say resolve it so i dont have to see any more useless threads with this dumbass bickering.
