well it sounds like you already know one of the four things a car needs to run. You ahve fuel, but do you have air? spark? compression?
When you turn the key, do the battery and check engine lights come on and then go out? Is your battery charged? Fuses all good? grounds all connected? is your distributor firing? Etc etc. Check all these things and then let us know.
Good Luck!

Did as long as you're pushing the pedal to the floor, it should at least attempt to crank. But why dont you bleed your clutch? its not hard...
Man if I wasn't so tired i'd offer to come to brooklyn and help you out!

good looking out but im at school in TN. Yo i tried the bleeding but it doesnt work for me. No engine light. The cluster may not have the bulb in it. To keep it real there is only one ground connected. I found no more wires on the motor or the car to be grounded. Does anyof this sound familiar?

There are three grounds on the engine. All three should be securely connected. There is one on the valve cover one on the thermostat housing and a third on the transmission. find those ground straps and hook them up man. This could be your problem right there.
As for the bleeding, what do you mean it didn't work? Do you have pressure in your clutch pedal? did you undo any of the clutch hydraulic lines?

This as well as those grounds seems to be the most important thing that you should answer for anyone looking to help you out. Answer those above questions.

yea the clutch lines were replaced with my cx lines cause the cats that stole **** cut all the clutch flex lines. Anyway my brother and I tried to bleed but He said at one point it got good and after that down hill from there. Well I will have to buy the ground wires tommorow and try this. I hear a ticking but I dont think it is from the starter. Let me know your imput.
Battery lights come on, no engine light, and I havent tried spark I will try in the morning. Shoulnd I hear it least a cranking noise?

Many moons ago I was an idiot and tried to bleed my clutch w/o the slave cylinder pushing on anything, it was just hanging there. Well the obvious happened and I blew the seals, after that I got a little bit of pressure but it would go away immediately. Check your slave and master cylinders for leakage first and foremost. then follow the lines from the master cylinder and make sure none of the fittings are leaking.

So when you turn the key, you don't have the yellow/orange light come on for just a moment?
Just keep bleeding the clutch, until you have to run new DOT 3 - or - 4 through it, it will stiffen up. If your brother is still up, you may as well just go ahead and attempt spark. Make sure the firing order on the distributor is correct, then take the number 1 spark plug wire out from the valve cover and stick in a screwdriver, pointed end inside of the spark plug wire, then lay it over the valve cover about 1/8 inch away from a valve cover bolt. What you want is the pointed end of the screwdriver inside the spark plug wire then right near the start of the handle of the screwdriver (because this is where the metal conducting would end) would be a 1/8 inch above the valve cover bolt. You should see a little spark when your brother is attempting to crank the car. Put the spark plug wire back then try with the second one down and continue until you get to the number 4. Only do one spark plug wire at a time. BE CAREFUL not to touch the screwdriver when he is cranking the car, you'll get a shock, electrocutioner chair style.

Wait, the check engine light doesn't come on when you turn the key to the ON position?
It should come on and stay on for two seconds then go out. This is the ECU running a self-test, when the light goes through that sequence it means that it has found no problems. No CEL at all means there is a problem with your ECU. But I wouldnt be 100% sure of that until you have replaced all your grounds. Is your ECU plugged in correctly? do you have the right ECU?

im running jdm obd1 pz2 with jumper. My brother went to bed already so I cant check spark till tommorow. Im hoping ots a grounding prob
First time i did my swap, i forgot to tighten the (+) wire on the starter. it wouldnt go on at all. after checking all gounds i noticed that loose starter wire and it sparked. turned on. Also check the alternator wire.
Just in case:

yo i already look at the starter. Not sure if its working cause I dont really hear anything from it. And I swap the alternato out and its all pluged up, but that shouldnt have anything to do with cranking. I will deal with it in the morning Im just gonna skip school.

yea check your connection to the starter, check your battery. Im doing the same swap rite now, i havent used my car for a month, and the battery just died on me(drained from not being used while connected with the pos and neg, you may have a drained battery, make sure it has 12 volts or have it tested for load), I was wondering why my alarm didnt work when I pressed it. One of your complaint is not hearing the starter to crank your motor. You know you got fuel, forget the spark if your motor dont even turn over. keep us up to date.
