best type of suspension
what is the best type of suspension i could get for my 89 hatch. Know that im putting a big motor in it and it will be reasonably fast i will need something to help me take turns at a highspeed and make my ride look a little better. Im already getting strut bars and someone told me that they all work the same so i migh just go with megan racing or something. But what kind of suspension do u think that i should go with to help my handling?
That's a pretty generic question as there is alot of suspension setups.
But it seems that your looking for a semi cheaper suspension.
I would say call up Ground control and have them make custom coilovers.
Tell them what you want, and that you will have a swap and they will give you custom spring rates to you application.

The cheapest strut bars are gonna be just the plain chrome polished ones, dont get one that says magen racing or whatever lol.
I say go with adjustable struts like kyb agx or tokico illumina, and then choose a set of springs based one how low you want your ride to go... ive heard good things about tein springs but i use eibach pro-kit personally. You could probably even go with a cheap set hell, theyre just springs, not like theres any moving parts. But definitely dont skimp on the shocks. And by going with adjustable shocks you could set it to handle more weight in the front when you do a swap.

yeh, they are just springs, but they are important. cheap ones won't be the right rate for the car, just a cheaply-made piece of wound steel rod.
hell, good ones are only a litle over $100 new.
