R&D Motorsports issue..
I placed an order prior to the previous thread concerning them. I kind of defended them in the thread saying that they were honest I would wait a month for the part. Last week I called and asked about it, and was told call weekly to check up, and that he has now expecting it at the latter end of the month. I called yesterday and was told that they have no information on the order (got a little worried). Today I called and spoke to Dave, and he said that they have not gotten it in stock yet. I could have ordered right from japan and had it go through customs and to my door by now. I expect a tracking number by March 31st, or a credit dispute will be filed, as well as a Better Business Report, and a further post.
In addition to this, do not order from their "specials." They do not have them in stock. In fact, they told me that they raised the DC2R spoon n1 price, but will keep the $350 special price if I wait for it to come in. Still, their website offers it for $350 on "special." ( A month and a half later).
In summary, I want a tracking number by march 31st, or I will take action.

s2ki forum. this guy is also having problem with him. he waited very very long time for the product when dave said that he can get it in a week.

i was the one who started the thread on R&D. dave is honest, but he always says he will get the shipment in, but it never does. I waited a full year, patiently. I finally got my money back earlier this month. so i advise, if u dont get ur tracking number by march 31, TAKE ACTION. Demand a refund. or file a complaint. I believe it was Kengs who sent me a link to the complaint page, i woudl IM him for details.

Being in the wholesale distribution business I completely understand the frustration of waiting for parts from Japan and Europe. I have tens of thousands of dollars on backorders at all times from HKS, APEX, SPARCO.......ECT.
Most people don't understand that the parts are not manufactured in the states at all. On top of that most of the companies US headquarters are just shipping wharehouses. They have to wait for containers to come from overseas also and the only information they have is what there parent company in Japan....Europe ECT tells them. And these are companies that actually have there own distribution in the states.
Now Spoon on the otherhand does not have a head quarters in the US. Another importer brings the parts in through the west coast and distributes them. R&D is at the mercy of this distributors schedule.
If you can not wait or don't want to, ask for you money back.................but don't threaten to "take action" No internet tough guys needed.
PS I have no relation to R&D but understand what they and others have to go through when dealing with Japan and Europe.
We do not sell retail at all to avoid this type of situation.

Yes, we've seen enough of these threads containing threats of action.
Take action, then post about it. Don't make idle threats online in the hope of R&D coming crying to you.
Also, please don't think I'm here strictly to back up R&D. Personally, Dave still owes me items, but you don't see me crying about it online.
