Default dropzone struts with dropzone coilovers

Hi I currently have tein s. tech springs on my 01 accord 2d ex. I made the mistake of letting my inexperienced friend drop the car for me. My front shocks as soon as they put the car back onto the ground. I wasn't there during this process but I guess he didnt drop the car back down properly. The rear springs were professionally installed and the stock rear shocks are fine with the new springs. The prob. is that my car bounces like a **** due to the soft *** springs and no front shocks. I found a deal on ebay for a set of dropzone coilovers with the dropzone aftermarket shocks. They also offer a spring/shock combo but I think i want coils so that I can adjust them. Has anyone had experience with dropzone suspension products? If so what did you think of them? I dont really want to just get new shocks because I dont really like the drop from the teins (front looks higher than the rear and it droped a little more) the dropzone combo package is only about $300.00 which sounds like a good deal and im only 20 with a part time job so i can't spend too much money. Any other suggestions besides getting the dropzone package? thanks for your help I need to get something very soon I am starting to get pissed at the horribly way my car is riding as of right now thanks alot!

stay away, far away from dropzone anything.

especially shocks.

this might shock you, but you should save up a good 600-800 bucks, get a set of good shocks and ground controls. if you don't want to spend that much, get a set of good lowering springs (or even keep the ones you have) and get a set of good shocks.

OEM shocks will always die when you lower the car without changing the shocks. and the reason why you're bouncing is b/c the shocks are blown (you already know that) however, if you had stiffer springs i think you'd hate life 10x more.

Alright I guess i will stay away from the dropzone stuff and try to find some ground controls or something better. Anyone know where i might be able to find a deal on some good coilovers and shocks? Is there anything I should worry about since i haven't had shocks on my front end for over a month and probably wont have some for about three more weeks? Im worried that I may be damaging other parts of my suspension. thanks for the tips

get some kyb's for 300 on ebay, and some coilovers...im getting arospeeds, they're cheaper price, but i've heard good stuff about them, plus they sell on ebay for under 100 bucks. they have a high spring rate, but the agx's will dampen that.
otherwise you might be able to find some GC's for under 200 on ebay, if not, slightly more

U get what u pay for bro, So stay away from Dropzone. I had a customer bring me a Coil over/strut combo to install on a Civic. Needless to sya he was very unhappy with the quality of the ride. I run a KYB AGX w. GC coil overs, very nice set up for about $700...

I ran Tokico Illuminas with GCs for a while they rode pretty nice. And they handled great on the del sol.

go with stock springs, you don't want to be adjusting it all the time

Just know that if you use coilover sleeves like GC with the KYB AGX and drop it more than 1.5 inches (you know you will) then KYB wont warranty anything, and wont last as long as they should because they arent meant to be used like that. If you want to go lower than 1.5 just look into a full 1 piece coilover that can go as low as you want and be reliable and still under some sort of warranty.

Just my 2c.
