Default gasket changes ratio

I recently put on JR headers and i need a new gasket. I was reading about this one (forgot the name) that changes the comp ratio to 11.4/1. What difference does that make and is it potetially dangerous running leaner like that?

the compression ratio your talking about is has to do with the stroke of the motor not the combustion ratio, second that would be a head gasket that changes the compression ratio, when putting on headers you need a new exhaust manifold gasket.

wow u just connected like 3 diff unrelated things in one sentence.

the head gasket goes between the head and the block. it affects the compression ratio.

the exhaust manifold gasket goes between the block exhaust ports and the exhaust manifold.

heh its kind of funny krystar but yeah all you need is a new exhaust manifold gasket. Toda head gasket, mugen or any others is what would change the compression on your motor.
