like the title say i found complete d16z6, with tranny and axles, also a d16y7. only engine, are they worth anything , what is the horsepower on these 2, i have 2 crx si's, are any of them worth keepin for the future just in case, all help apreciated. thanks

yeah dont even bother with these engines they are complete DOGSHIT they SOHC anyways what u want to find is a B16A underneath ur rug go look for one. PM me and I will give u myshipping address and you can ship them here I will blow them up for you.

omg made tyte b16a swap huh? the only good motor for ef's , right?

the z6 makes 125hp@6600/104tq@5400 , and the y8 makes 127hp@6600\107tq@5500.
if you just "found" these engines , why not use them. sohc turbo is the way to go man.

 

in lew of all this craziness....finding engines and what not...why not stick both motors in one car...and built the best dual sohc car ever....

Nah, thats for nubs, just give me that for the $150 you paid and I'll help you look under your rug, infact I'll even throw in an old 10'x20' rug I keep under my crx in the garage[concrete is cold and lifts are $$$] and you can check under that one too!

and green91, no **** you eat b16's all day. it's called forced induction. not knocking you, but i bet you don't eat a decent force-fed b16, unless it's swappd into a Honda Ridgeline and your boosted d16z6 is in a gutted 1st-gen crx.

 

the b16 is from a junkyard and i have connection that got me the deal on it.

that happened to me once....
but come to find out, it wasn't my garage.
and once i got home, the engines turned into cases a beer.
so i drank em...o how i miss the old days of 'garagin'
