since the front doesnt have a reinforcement bar how is the intercooler going to be set?

anyone done this? please post pics.. getting my turbo instaleld but having issues wit this thanks

 

Ther is a jdm reinforcement bar it's just smaller. You can use ur usdm reinforcement with jdm bumper u just have to cut a little part of the bumper that is not noticable.

The jdm has another strut bar and i attached the intercooler on it .

You can buy it from your local dealer.It is an oem bar

I don't know what he's talking about when he says strut bar. It's the bumper reinforcement bar that comes with the jdm front end. Just screw some brackets for the intercooler into the bar and it fits fine.

 

dude we're tryign to tell u u have a reinforcement bar already on ur car. use it.

the bar is strong enough to support an intercooler, trust me, I've had a decent size intercooler mounted on that bar before. Intercoolers don't way that much.

 

Plus you have the piping holding it up too

you have to trim the back part of the grill a little bit, nothing major though unless you have a gigantic intercooler.

 

i have the drag intercooler like that one too not too big

 

If you have an original JDM spec ITR, you don't have to cut nothing.Just put the bumper on normally.I did another intercooler today like i showed you
