with the billet al. hasport mounts and JDM SiR knucles, do I keep the dust cover over the bearing or take it out? I'm using 93 GSR DA axles.
i did, but i used EX knuckles. put it all in there first and see if it fits okay.
once you remove the dust ring, i dont think you can get it back in.
someone return this guy's tranny video!

what axels was he runn'n? I was under impression that with the true SiR units, I should be ok with those dust rings on OK.
I thought that HASPORT got the engine position just about the same as the JDM SiR but a little bit back. right?

well, DA axles are not the same as SiR axles.
i remember the older hasport site said to mimic a SiR axle you need to mix axle parts from 90-93 integra axle and a 86-89 integra axle (the outer joint of one on the other axle, i cant remember which was which).
with hasport, the motor sits further back than in a SiR so i would imagine axle alignment might be off if you used SiR axles.
btw, you do know about the toe-in problem with SiR knuckles right?

DA outer tie rods won't fix the toe problem. I just got a set and they are teh same size as the ED/EF outer tie rods.
maybe the inner tie rods are different, but I haven't checke those yet.
