Default Anybody have info on Tein s-tech springs for en EF8 or EF9...

Like it says, Has anybody gotten a set of these, I usually am an Eibach man but I like the Tein advertisement of 1.5" drop. Thats exactly what I am looking for. I had their springs on my old RSX-S but with factory struts and it was stiff and bouncy, I attribute most of it to the mac-strut front end.

Thanks H-T peeps.

I just put s-techs and new kyb gr2s on my 4 door. They are probably a little more than 1.5'' drop. The body rolls up a little bit on cornering butI dont mind because they dont rattle your teeth out. Also they were pretty cheap $120 shipped.

zach from what I hear the tein springs are great for daily drivers and have a very soft spring rate. I think they would be too soft for track use. A great combo is the teins and gr-2s. For 120-140 dollars you cant really beat them and I think they also have a warranty against sagging. I think im gonna scoop up a set for my daily driver as well.

Cool...I am very interested in the price, its funny how different springs can be. I had teins on my RSX and it was a hard ride, a buddy from SC had Eibach pro-kit on his RSX and it was way to soft...

i have s tech springs and kyb gr2 shocks. it is a nice comfortable ride and you wont have too much camber wear. i ride new tires for over a year. the downside is they are a little soft- but progressive. i autoX in my crx w/ B16 with this setup and i do well. it is my daily and i like them very much.

my friend has had h&r sport springs for years and they are 1.8-2.0 drop. they are stiffer and preform better but he swerves for every bump and replaces tires every 3-4 months. they handle great and i would reccomend them too.

Do you think if I rocked them with a set of Tokico Iluminas that they might be not so soft?

I have KYB GR-2's and Progress Auto springs on my daily driven car. Nice stance and not too low.

i had originally bought kyb agx adjustables but i ended up going with the gr2 because it rode better. stiffer shocks seem too stiff for the springs IMO

Interesting...

GR2's are cheaper, Progress recommended the Tokiko Illuminas to me...I've had them before and like them.

Maybe your friend installed them wrong?
